Auto thefts threaten our safety and cost the people of Ontario over $1 billion dollars a year.
I continue to raise this important issue at Queen's Park and have tabled a motion that if passed, would require the Government to consult with law enforcement agencies and automobile manufacturers to mandate that all vehicles sold in Ontario are equipped with the most effective anti-theft technologies and strategies of the highest standards, to make Ontario a world leader in auto-theft prevention.
