I have been actively involved in pushing this project along at Queen's Park and have met regularly with Metrolinx and the City of Toronto Transportation Services to address issues that arose as a result of this construction.
The completed line includes 18 stops across 11 km and can move over 46,000 passengers each day. The Light Rail Transit will run every 5 to 7 minutes during peak times and every 7 to 10 minutes during less busy times.
Active testing of the line is underway and the expected opening of the line is imminent.
