Right to repair products we buy
TO THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF ONTARIO,
WHEREAS it should cost less to repair your products than buy new ones; and
WHEREAS manufacturers have made it difficult and/or costly to find and purchase replacement
parts; and
WHEREAS being able to repair your product is good for the environment by reducing e-waste
We the undersigned petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as follows:
To establish right to repair legislation that would enable consumers the choice to have their
consumer electronics, household appliances, wheelchairs, motor vehicles and farming
heavy equipment repaired affordably.
